Kotak Investment Advisors Limited (KIAL), part of Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited (\Group\), focuses on the Alternate Assets business of the Group. KIAL was set up in early 2005 with its first structured third party funds to bring a sharper focus to this business. Since then it has raised / managed / advised in aggregate US$ 5.12 billion across different asset classes including Private Equity Funds, Real Estate Funds, Infrastructure Funds, the Special Situations Credit Fund, Listed Equities and Investment Advisory, all led by independent investment teams. Each of these teams has significant industry and investment experience with strong deal origination and networking capabilities and a proven investment track record with demonstrated exits. The teams are known for their deal structuring capabilities, value creation and are among the few managers in India to have returned significant amount of capital and returns to our investors.
