Julia Morgan School for Girls, an independent school from grades 6 through 8, is dedicated to the intellectual, creative, social, and emotional growth of girls during their critical middle school years. Located on the beautiful Mills College campus in Oakland, California, our Mission is to create an arena for academic excellence, critical thinking, positive risk taking, and the development of individual talents. Learning extends beyond the walls of the classroom into the community to foster compassion and social responsibility. The rigorous, integrated, project based curriculum includes: science, technology, performing and visual arts, Spanish language instruction, architecture, financial literacy, service learning, physical education and sports.
