Jara Revenue and Competitors

Jara provides emergency education to impoverished and disaster-affected communities around the world through IoT enabled technology. We are currently building the Jara Unit, a personal handheld device that can be used anywhere, anytime, without requiring access to infrastructure. Jara empowers people to rebuild their communities and continue their education, despite their circumstance. Our primary focus is in Nepal, to empower the 1 million children who were left out of school from the massive 2015 earthquake that destroyed thousands of school structures. In 2017, the Jara team visited various regions in Nepal and met with schoolchildren to get an understanding of the viability of our IoT solution in these cultural contexts. Jara has been recognized by companies such as Cisco, Samsung and Forbes for our work in education and technology. We are constantly working to expand our reach and further our mission.
