Ignitia is a high-technology company producing the world's first highly accurate tropical forecast model. Ignitia is a weather producer- not a weather service. Our unique approach is rooted in the use of remote sensing data sets (like satellites), without requiring ground monitoring systems. Predictive artificial intelligence, proprietary algorithms, and uninterrupted 3-D multisource data come together to create a tropical forecast that is twice as accurate as global models. Through our partnernships with telecommunication companies and agricultural organizations, we send farmers daily, monthly and seasonal rain forecasts via SMS. Ignitia is not an app, and a smartphone is not required.
