What Is IAS Claim Services?

IAS Claim Services was established in 1984 and has grown to be one of the largest independent insurance adjusting firms in the United States. Through our offices in Texas, Louisiana, Georgia and Florida, IAS has adjusting professionals working claims throughout the Central and Southeastern US every day-not just during storm season. Also through our wholly owned subsidiary, CatCrew, we have full time catastrophic adjusters that work throughout the year with heavy concentration in the Midwest and Eastern US. Today the combined resources of IAS and CatCrew are capable of adjusting tens of thousands of property claims a year. With one of the largest claim adjusting workforces in the US, IAS is a convenient choice for many insurers to avoid dealing with dozens of small "mom and pop" independent adjusting firms. In addition to P&C adjusting, IAS also provides Third Party Administration (TPA) services for select clients. Through these services, IAS handles all aspects of claim administration from the call center to closing and payment of claims. More insurance company clients are evaluating the efficiency of these services as they look to focus on the core competencies and as they look to focus on .... managing the "quality" of customer experience they are delivering versus the day-to-day details of managing the staffing, training of human resources, building and maintaing the technology infrastrucutre, managing the ebbs and flows of a call center operation, etc. Working with a large client base allows IAS to provide each of our clients the ability to turn on and off the costs associated with claims management depending on claim volume as opposed to holding those costs throughout the year with indifference to claim volume. Going forward, IAS is poised for growth. After a recent complete facilities and technology upgrade, we now have a Tier 1 level support hosted claim system that allows our clients to assign, review, report and communicate directly (electronically) with our company without need to go through phone, fax or emails, avoiding pitfalls of gaps in the claim records and time delays. As with our claim system, we've also recently upgraded our email servers taking them offsite to a Tier 1 level hosted provider also with a guaranteed 99.99% uptime 24/7/365. These new technologies are allowing us to execute our expansion plans into more states and more communities by allowing us to rapidly plug in more professional adjusters and more clients with the confidence that we will be able to continue to provide outstanding customer service. While we are excited about our new technologies and what they will enable us to do for our clients, technology cannot replace what is needed most to ensure client success--experienced people. The majority of IAS management team is made up of professionals with over 20 years experience as independent adjusters who have been through multiple cycles of the industry and multiple waves of catastrophic events. Our people understand the importance of custom adjusting services -that is, that each insurance company has it's own philosophies and how they would like their image projected and protected by our professionals who are dealing with their customers. This is why at IAS, each of our customers are assigned a Client Manager who has the responsibility of ensuring education, quality control and efficiency is tailored to fit and executed to our Client's satisfaction.
