HiRide Revenue and Competitors

We're a rapidly expanding startup within the tech industry. We originally started out as carpooling company, but are now working on a social media application (HiQ), COVID-19 contact tracing application (Tracescan), while also continuing to grow our carpooling app (HiRide) We're looking for students to help work on the software side of all of these applications. Company Website: https://hiride.ca/ HiRide HiRide is a carpooling platform designed primarily for post-secondary students. We connect drivers traveling long distances or commuting, with riders going to similar destinations, and handle the exchange of payment between the two parties. We offer various safety, efficiency, and enjoyability features to make the ride the best it can be, including interest-based matching algorithms to connect riders and drivers. We currently have over 20,000+ users on our app since launching in January of 2019. Last August, we had the opportunity to pitch on Dragons Den and received funding. HiQ HiQ is designed to encourage people to socialize, make new connections, and keep their minds stimulated by competing in various trivia games. The app's algorithm is built to match users that have similar interests, thus offering an environment conducive to the creation of meaningful peer-to-peer connections from the comfort of users' homes. Our social media application has reached over 500 000+ downloads in the app and play store. Tracescan HiRide Share Ltd. is also partnering up with the University of Waterloo to develop a contact tracing mobile application/wearables to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
