Welcome to HCA Healthcare’s Capital Division.\r\n\r\nHCA’s Capital Division encompasses a total of 17 regional hospitals and three free-standing emergency centers, in four states. Primarily concentrated in Virginia, the Capital Division also includes two hospitals in New Hampshire, one hospital in Kentucky and one hospital in Indiana.\r\n\r\nThe Virginia-based facilities cover three major population centers in the commonwealth. Richmond, the capital of Virginia, has the largest concentration – with six regional HCA Virginia-branded hospitals and two free-standing emergency centers. The Southwest Virginia is served by four regional LewisGale-branded hospitals, and the Northern Virginia market has three hospitals and one free-standing emergency center, which will be opening as a fully-functional hospital in December 2015.\r\n\r\nThe Capital Division is also home to many award-winning specialty facilities, with expertise in Cancer Care, Cardiovascular Care, Behavioral Health, Surgical Services, and innovative technologies. Therefore it’s not surprising that HCA Capital Division facilities are offering some of the most advanced healthcare in their communities.\r\n\r\nMany of the hospitals in the HCA Capital Division are recipients of numerous health quality awards and accolades, including a Top 50 Hospitals in America from Healthgrades, to prestigious certifications for quality and excellence from the Joint Commission.
