What Is GreenCollar?

GreenCollar is leading Australia, and the world, in providing an environmental markets-based approach to climate change. We are Australia's leading natural resource management and environmental markets consultancy. Through our research, native forest protection and carbon farming initiatives, GreenCollar is providing innovative solutions to meet the challenges of reducing the impact of climate change. GreenCollar has been at the forefront of developing new markets such as biodiversity and carbon through initiatives such as the development of the world's first forest carbon accounting methodology to generate carbon credits by converting commercially logged forests into conservation areas. We work closely with landowners, government organisations and financial organisations to find ways to extract value from markets like carbon finance, ecosystem services, biodiversity and watershed management in order to generate revenues from economic and environmentally sound activities. GreenCollar is a highly regarded advisor to government departments (local, state and federal) as well as organisations and NGOs involved in the development and implementation of climate change adaptation and mitigation strategies and also environmental and natural resource management programs. We have project managed some of the world's largest sustainable land management and carbon forestry projects and initiatives and have also written up 95 per cent of Australia's native forest carbon abatement. Our projects are spread across the world with projects in Australia, South-East Asia, Africa, South America and Europe. GreenCollar is led by an experienced management and consulting team with extensive experience in environment, natural resource management, climate change, carbon finance and international development.
