What Is Government Blockchain Association?

The Government Blockchain Association (GBA) is an International Professional Association and a US-based non-profit membership organization that consists of individuals and organizations that are interested in promoting blockchain related solutions to government requirements. Membership is available for free for Civil Servants and fee-based for industry professionals and corporations. GBA establishes best practices that promote blockchain related solutions by working with governments to help solve challenges and to meet missions to better serve citizens. Members communicate, contribute and collaborate by joining local chapters and distributed working groups. Working Groups give members the chance to work on real-world challenges and produce and deliver current user generated content, such as blogs, presentations and white papers that are made available to the public and private sector. GBA creates relationships that would otherwise not come about ? between and among technologists, public policy makers, application specialists and those who simply need to understand the new and emerging digital currencies that will change the world. GBA will act as a catalyst and facilitator in creating a public dialog around the creative, profitable and positive leveraging of blockchain.
