GoBEBA is a Technology-enabled consumer distribution firm focussed on cooking gas. We are building a new distribution model for consumer goods starting with cooking fuels . We help customers access cooking gas conveniently while lowering the cash flow barrier for low income customers who cannot purchase the product in the current retail units. The solution provides an LPG marketplace with technology that combines m-commerce, mobile payments and on-demand logistics to drive speed, convenience and affordability. a) Convenient access: by building a marketplace that distributes all LPG cylinder brands, we make LPG ordering a convenient experience. Gas is delivered into a home within 30 minutes of ordering through voice, USSD, web or app channel without compromising the product quality or consumer safety. We have pick-up stores with owned inventory to complement our partner LPG brand owners who have lower footprint in urban neighbourhoods. b) Affordability: we provide purchase financing through integration with micro lenders and a pay-per-use offering, enabling low-end customers to purchase gas affordably and to adopt use of cleaner cooking fuels. We aim to be the leading technology-enabled LPG distributor across Africa. We seek to transform the distribution model of LPG in Africa from a complicated, inconvenient and expensive process to a simplified near utility experience.
