The Geological Survey of Austria (Geologische Bundesanstalt) is the largest geoscientific research center in Austria. As a research institution of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research, it collects and interprets geoscientific information, providing it to the public and laying the foundation for sustainable use of the country’s geogenic potential.
