J.R. Filanc Construction Company, Inc. is an award-winning, general engineering and design-build contractor that constructs, renovates, and expands water and wastewater treatment, biosolids management, and waste-to-energy facilities throughout the Western United States. Since our founding in 1952, we have completed more than 300 facilities for the public, private and federal sectors. Our projects range from emergency repair work to $100+ million dollar facility construction and expansion. Our principals have over 200 years of combined experience in the construction of water and wastewater facilities. As a general contractor, Filanc typically self-performs over 70 percent of work with our own forces in the categories of pipefitting, mechanical, structural, concrete, and earthwork. We deliver projects utilizing four methods of project delivery: traditional bid-build, design-build, construction manager at risk and job order contracting. Our projects range in scope from major undertakings spanning several years to relatively small repairs.
