What Is Exile International?

Exile International restores rescued child soldiers and children orphaned by war, and empowers them to become leaders for peace through art therapy and holistic, rehabilitative care. Launched in response to the devastating war in Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo, Exile International has provided life-changing care to over 3,500 child survivors. Youth (ages 5-22) receive the physical, emotional, and spiritual care necessary to heal the wounds of trauma. Exile empowers youth through education, discipleship, and leadership development — equipping each boy and girl to become a leader for peace. Program graduates include university students, skilled professionals, and community leaders — some of whom are now developing care programs in their own communities.
