What Is Donor Network West?

Donor Network West saves and heals lives through organ and tissue donation by facilitating organ and tissue recoveries for transplantation in Northern California and Nevada. We honor and respect the donors and families we serve with compassionate care, and inspire our communities to donate life. Established in 1987, Donor Network West is an official Donate Life organization accredited by the Association of Organ Procurement Organizations (AOPO) and the American Association of Tissue Banks (AATB). Federally designated to serve 40 counties in northern California and Nevada, Donor Network West partners with the Department of Motor Vehicles and the state-authorized donor registries. Our vision is to be the premier community resource for organ and tissue donation in our service area. We will provide excellent and compassionate support and service to the public and health care professionals who serve them in the hope that each person will choose to be a donor.
