Community Montessori Revenue and Competitors

Community Montessori Charter School is a public Montessori school opening in 2013. The school will be opening with three Montessori learning center locations, in Escondido and Santee. Each classroom will have a maximum of 26 students with one teacher and a teacher's assistant. Each classroom will have the full Montessori complement of materials and a Montessori trained teacher. In addition to a diverse interdisciplinary curriculum, students will participate in a variety of hands-on projects. These will include gardening, model construction, community service, field trips, and more. In line with Montessori philosophy, the development of the whole child is considered and students will be encouraged to become independent learners with a strong sense of communal responsibility.
