What Is Bounty Mining?

Bounty Mining Ltd is Australia's only specialist thin-seam coal mining contract services group. We provide mining solutions and equipment to mine-owners who want to unlock the value of their thin-seam coal reserves. Bounty is the first Australian company to perfect the technique of mining seams of less than 2 metres. Our experience is in the use of place change bord and pillar mining techniques and specialist low profile equipment to extract thin-seam coal efficiently, making this coal an economically viable resource. Bounty's business objectives are to: Provide mining solutions to mine owners who want to unlock the value of their thin-seam reserves and remnant thick seam reserves. Introduce specialist underground mining equipment and mining techniques to improve mine productivity. Assist mine owners in maximising the recovery of remnant blocks of coal. Advance longwall development at a rate faster than long wall removal can using productive board and pillar mining. The key to our growth lies in the contracts and our ability to deliver value for mine-owners. Bounty's mission statement is: "To be different and to make a difference" Bounty, as a contract coal miner, wants to create a suite of mining contracting services that allows mine owners to realise the value locked in their thin-seam and remnant thick seam coal reserves.
