Bakedin was founded in 2013 by 3 friends - Joe, Anna and Elaina - and is based in North Hampshire. We all shared a love of Baking and invented our baking kits which we started out selling at local markets and food festivals in our spare time. The products were phenomenally popular and before we knew it we had our first local stockists and a distribution agreement with Cotswold Fayre. In June 2015 Joe quit his day job as an IT manager to run the business full time, gaining the backing of Michel Roux who now assists with development of all our Baking Kit recipes. Since then the business has gone from strength to strength, with revenue growing by over 500%, 3 Great Taste awards to our name and our own custom fitted SALSA accredited manufacturing facility. We don't believe in putting any funny business into our products, which is why they will never contain any artificial colourings, flavourings or preservatives. We source locally where we can - our flour comes from California Farm in Berkshire, the home to our first stockist - Saddleback Farm Shop! Current stockists include Selfridges, Lakeland, Wholefoods and Center Parcs. The home baking kits are unique: they feature exclusive recipes by Michel Roux, one of the worlds finest ever pastry chefs. They include all the dry ingredients bagged separately pre-cut baking paper and even the tin to bake in giving you an authentic baking from scratch experience. Our baking kits are extremely popular as gifts and for baking with children as an activity that teaches them real cooking skills with a little less hassle and no waste. Our mug baking mixes use the same top quality ingredients as our baking kits but enable you to bake a brownie, cookie or cake in a mug in the microwave in less than 2 minutes. We sell them in individual pots as well as in multipacks. These have quickly become our best selling products and have a very broad appeal.
