AmeriStudent works with welcoming, thoroughly-screened host families to ensure students are placed in a safe and clean environment. Each host family has completed cultural orientation training, passed a series of background checks, and met with our staff during in-home visits. AmeriStudent provides a unique platform to organize and display homestay choices through cutting-edge technology, which allows students to be carefully matched with 2 - 4 potential host families that they can choose from. Students placed with an AmeriStudent certified host family are then provided ongoing support by an attentive staff of local coordinators that help them adjust to school and life in America. AmeriStudent is one of only a handful of companies fully certified through the Council on Standards for International Educational Travel (CSIET).
