We brew Tamari Soy Sauce using a family formula handed down for over 200 years. Today, San-J president Takashi Sato, the eighth generation member of the founding family, continues the brewing tradition.
Our brewing process utilizes fermentation and aging to create the rich and smooth taste of San-J Tamari. Each batch is brewed for up to six months with 100% Non-GMO soybeans and no wheat. It is free of artificial preservatives, flavors, and colors. It’s also certified gluten-free, vegan, kosher, FODMAP-friendly, and verified as Non-GMO.Â
