Chicago Messenger Service is Chicago's largest Emergency Special Delivery Service. We are a family owned and operated business. CMS has more vehicles and people on the street than any other company in the Midwest. CMS affiliates are: CMS Air Express Service, NiteMoves and CMS Logistics. CMS was started in 1964 by Hy Factor. Hy first became interested in the instant response, Emergency Special Delivery business while working in his father's butcher shop as a delivery man. Hy's son, William, became involved in the family business at a young age. Bill's beginnings included maintenance chores and being a truck helper. He extended his experience by working in dispatch, accounting and customer service. Our hands on approach has been one of the reasons that Chicago Messenger Service has grown to be the nation's leading Emergency Special Delivery Service.
