Dovetail was founded in 2005 by its principals, Kerri Barile and Mike Carmody, who have decades of experience working with cultural resources across the United States. The company has grown to over 40 staff members, including archaeologists, architectural historians, historians, historic preservation planners, Graphic Information System (GIS) and Computer Aided Design (CAD) specialists, and administrative professionals.
