The Community & Home Supports (CHS) mission is to support people in the home, empowering families to live self-determined lives in their community, and people with needs. These include homeless families and individuals, for whom we locate housing, senior adults, people with disabilities, people recovering from illness or injury – to remain independent in their home through our in-home assistance.
In addition to empowering independence and successful (re)integrating households into neighborhoods, our vision includes providing quality services to all who seek our assistance and operating in a work environment for our employee
CHS is a non-profit organization that provides home-based services to families in crisis. Through a variety of programs and services, CHS works to build strong families by providing services that:
1) Strengthen their capacity to deal independently with future challenges;
2) Increase skills that enable families to achieve greater independence.es that is conducive to both personal and professional growth.Our primary programs presently are rapid rehousing case management for the homeless and non-medical, in-home assistance for anyone eligible and in need. We have been developing collaboration to capitalize on our respective expertise to enhance each other for the benefit of the individuals and families in need.
