In 1989, Better Tomorrows' foundation began when an affordable housing owner and developer Mike Levitt invested in a new approach to property management for low-income communities under the leadership of Jacqueline "Jackie" Jones.
In 2013, Better Tomorrows was incorporated as an independent non-profit organization, delivering case management and community programming focused around four core outcome areas: 1) Economic Stability, 2) Educational Success, 3) Healthy Lifestyles, and 4) Strong Communities.
Better Tomorrows' is led by the national office senior leadership team listed below and a number of Assistant Directors and Social Service Coordinators nationwide.

Today, Better Tomorrows provides supportive services for children, youth, families and seniors at affordable housing communities across the country, including more than 100 of Michaels’ affordable properties.The multi-service organization supports over 40,000 low-income youth, adults, and seniors in 121 affordable housing communities across the country.
