The Virginia Peninsula Foodbank has been a community leader in providing food security to residents across the Greater Peninsula. Since 1986, we have provided over 108 million meals to residents throughout our service area, which encompasses the Cities of Hampton, Newport News, Poquoson and Williamsburg, and the Counties of Gloucester, James City, Mathews, Surry and York. In order to sustain the ever-growing need, the Foodbank collaborates with over 200 partner agencies, made up of local churches, food pantries, soup kitchens, children’s and adult homes/shelters, and other community centers that people turn to in times of need.
