As a pioneer in the 403(b) market, Lincoln has serviced schools and other non-profit organizations for over 30 years. In 1974, Lincoln received a boon when the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) allowed new investment vehicles within 403(b) plans. Lincoln welcomed this new legislation, and responded by developing services and products to help 403(b) plan participants take advantage of the new investment opportunity.
