Oregon Community Credit Union was founded over 50 years ago by a small group of State of Oregon employees who pooled their money together in a shoe box. Today, we've grown to become the 3rd largest credit union in Oregon with more than 90,000 members and more than $800 million in assets. We have expanded our charter to allow anyone who lives or works in Benton, Clackamas, Columbia, Lane, Linn, Marion, Multnomah, Polk, Washington and Yamhill counties to become a member. Throughout our growth over the past 50 years, we have maintained our steadfast commitment to two things: keeping Oregon strong by investing in our members and our communities and to providing exceptional service in everything we do. We are a full-service financial institution and offer savings and checking accounts, direct deposit, auto loans, mortgages, certificates of deposit, investment services offered through LPL Financial* and more. Like all credit unions, we are not-for-profit and exist solely to serve our members and our communities. That means that unlike banks with shareholders, each member owns one share of the credit union. And, once financial requirements are met, all profits are returned to the membership in the form of higher dividends on savings, lower interest rates on loans and valuable new products and services - all combined with the friendliest service in town!
