Since 1991, Playworld Systems has offered the most comprehensive Accessibility Program within the industry, to help people plan access into their play spaces. Focusing on a child's development by providing fun, stimulating and age-appropriate activities for all children has always been a goal of Playworld Systems. Playworld Systems was selected as the only playground manufacturer to participate in a major exhibition celebrating Universal Design at the prestigious Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum, Smithsonian Institution in New York City. The exhibition, entitled "Unlimited By Design" featured 150 examples of universal design from environments within the home, work and play to services and products; all designed to enhance the routine activities of the greatest number of people.
