Since 1991, Playworld Systems has offered the most comprehensive Accessibility Program within the industry, to help people plan access into their play spaces. Focusing on a child's development by providing fun, stimulating and age-appropriate activities for all children has always been a goal of Playworld Systems. As a result of the dedication, Playworld Systems has taken the lead by offering more accessible playground activities and design solutions than any other manufacturer, both on play systems and as independent activities. Playworld Systems was selected as the only playground manufacturer to participate in a major exhibition celebrating Universal Design at the prestigious Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum, Smithsonian Institution in New York City. The exhibition, entitled "Unlimited By Design" featured 150 examples of universal design from environments within the home, work and play to services and products; all designed to enhance the routine activities of the greatest number of people. Playworld Systems was selected to provide an innovative solution to "universal design" with a fully-functioning, accessible playground featuring items such as our exclusive Scramble Climber and Contained Accessible Climber as well as fun, motion-oriented activities like our revolutionary U-Bounce GroundZerO® component.
