Roots Catering was started in 2011 by Executive Chef, Craig Barbour as an intimate, local food food truck experience.
A graduate of Johnson and Wales University, Barbour touts professional experiences including Sous Chef and Food & Beverage Manager at Carmel Country Club and working under Chef Bruce Moffett at Barrington’s Restaurant. Barbour has been the Executive Chef and Owner of Roots Catering for six years; in 2017, he opened Roots Cafe in Charlotte's Southend neighborhood.
