CARS oversees technical assistance (TA) centers for state and national mental health and substance use disorder prevention initiatives. We have supported hundreds of organizations in expanding their outreach, planning strategically, implementing evidence-based practices, and ensuring future sustainability. We believe passionately that by supporting the bridge between research and practice, our work fosters healthier families and communities.
Our main service is providing comprehensive, relevant, responsive TTA to state, local, and community-based grant recipients. We actively promote peer learning and cross-sharing of innovative practices through engaging onsite and distance learning opportunities. We also specialize in translating research into visually appealing, practical resources and tools for diverse audiences.
