DCPH provides preventive public health services by:

DCPH investigates and reports communicable diseases, engages in emergency preparedness and responds to public health threats, promotes health education, provides clinical medical and Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) services to qualifying residents.
Our highly skilled, educated, and compassionate staff consists of bilingual support personnel, registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses, physicians, certified health educators, social workers, nutritionists and administrators.
