Denton County Public Health (DCPH) promotes and preserves sustainable community health through exceptional education, compassionate care and quality service. DCPH provides preventive public health services by: ᅢᄁ¬ツᆲᅡᄁAssuring disease surveillance and working to prevent the spread of disease ᅢᄁ¬ツᆲᅡᄁProtecting against environmental hazards ᅢᄁ¬ツᆲᅡᄁPromoting and encouraging healthy behaviors ᅢᄁ¬ツᆲᅡᄁPreparing and responding to disasters and assisting communities in recovery efforts DCPH investigates and reports communicable diseases, engages in emergency preparedness and responds to public health threats, promotes health education, provides clinical medical and Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) services to qualifying residents. Our highly skilled, educated, and compassionate staff consists of bilingual support personnel, registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses, physicians, certified health educators, social workers, nutritionists and administrators. We partner with local organizations to promote a healthy community to live, work and play. DCPH is leading our community to a healthier future.
