What Is unCommon Construction?
BUILDING HOUSES. FRAMING CHARACTER. unCommon Construction is a nonprofit that uses the build process to enhance learning and empower youth. Through our selective apprenticeship program, students from different schools join a diverse team to earn hourly pay and school internship credit for building a house from start to finish in a semester. Through after school and weekend sessions, participants gain the technical skills and real-world experience that makes them leaders in the workforce after graduating high school or college.
