Ysrael A. Seinuk, P.C. (YAS) is an internationally recognized structural engineering firm founded in 1977. YAS has been responsible for the structural design of major office and residential buildings, hotels, retail properties, educational, performing arts, sports and government facilities, as well as health care, hospital, laboratory, bridges, water pollution control plants and criminal justice facilities, together representing billions of dollars of construction. YAS is a certified MBE firm. YAS has spearheaded the designing of high-rise structures in New York City, such as the 785 Eighth Avenue (2009 CIB Award of Merit recipient), a 516 feet tall concrete residential building; The Charles, a newly constructed 32-story residential building; Hampton Inn Times Square, a 30-story reinforced concrete hotel building. We also have completed projects in Florida, which include the 2.3 million square foot Met 2 Complex, which consists of a 41-story JW Marriott Marquis Hotel and a 47-story office building; Met Square, a 35-story hotel tower over eight levels podium consists of retails and cinema entertainment center. YAS has also been responsible for the design of several international high-rise structures which include the 315 meter high Plot 41 Burj Dubai Development, the O14 Tower in Business Bay, Dubai (2009 CIB Award winner, 2010 ACEC Diamond Award, 2010 ACEC National Award for Structural Systems). A significant portion of our work has been performed for Higher Education projects for agencies such as CUNY, SUNY, SUCF, DASNY, as well as private institutions. Some of our notable projects include SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences; CUNY Brooklyn College New Science Complex; CUNY Borough of Manhattan Community College Fiterman Hall.
