What Is Work-Fit?
Work-Fit is a leader in preventive healthcare solutions. Work-Fit is a rapidly expanding provider of on-site preventive health care in American Industry. We provide musculoskeletal evaluation, rehabilitation, prevention, fitness, and wellness programs to the industrial athlete using traditional sports medicine principles. Our mission is to be an agent of change by making "Health" personal for our clients and their employees. The Work-Fit model places healthcare professionals directly onsite with its clients and provides a variety of services that are tailored to fit the customer's needs. Our staff is integrated into the daily operations of the client to produce a return on investment through reduction of musculoskeletal injuries and direct care. The delivery model engages client employees on a personal level and creates a culture of prevention. We primarily employ nationally certified athletic trainers who are sports medicine professionals specializing in orthopedic evaluation, functional movement assessment, health education and the prevention, early intervention and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries. Our services are founded on a sports medicine approach: injury prevention and proactive services are top priority; the Work-Fit professional is onsite and fully integrated into all aspects of the client's business; its people are the most valuable asset; care is efficient and highly accessible; and return to work at full functional ability is critical. Our services target the reduction of MSD recordables, and are offered to the client in a variety of options including injury prevention education, human performance and work station assessment, job coaching, work hardening, job conditioning, job rotation strategies, new hire assimilation, pre shift warm-ups, fitness for duty, OSHA first aid, and comprehensive injury rehabilitation.
