WilliamsRandall was founded in 1979. We're getting ahead of the story, though. It was originally Williams Company, named for founder and current Chairman and President, Charlie Williams. Charlie opened up the doors for business in Terre Haute, IN, the same year that Larry Bird was taking his alma mater, Indiana State, to the NCAA basketball championship. In 1985, a young New Zealander, Gerry Randall, currently the company CEO, joined the agency. He later became a business partner with Charlie, and WilliamsRandall was born. In 1995, the agency opened an office in Indianapolis and, at the same time, created the Internet...er got real adept at developing its potential for businesses in the area. With this leap into a new geographical and technological territory for the company came new accolades including one "Ad Person of the Year" award for Gerry. Full-service and integration have proven key for the agency as it turns 25 and heads towards 30. While other agencies pull back and specialize, WilliamsRandall continues to develop versatility that produces effective work for clients.
