Kimberly deCastro is the President/CEO and sole owner of Wildflower International, Ltd. Ms. deCastro started her business in 1991 in the mountain village of Glorieta, New Mexico as Mountain Tool and Supply. As a single mother in a male-dominated industry, in a rural New Mexico village with no employees, Kimberly began selling products geared toward heavy duty mechanical maintenance: fasteners, hydraulics, pneumatics and electronics for maintaining high-tech equipment. With the growing promise of high technology efforts, Kimberly changed the name of the company to Wildflower International, Limited and began marketing herself as an information technology reseller in 1993. The company today is an award-winning provider of technology to the United States Federal Government and its prime contractors. In addition to corporate offices in Santa Fe, the company has an additional sales office in Oak Ridge, TN. Wildflower’s philosophy is to aspire to the highest level of customer advocacy in the industry. The company cultivates long term relationships with its customer, the U.S. Federal Government. In order to understand the client’s many-faceted needs and desires, the company holds weekly meetings to discuss people, processes, personalities and obstacles. This process continually refines their \"Governmentality\" and creates an extraordinary procurement result for the federal customer.
