We are convinced that we must find the strengths in people and build on these for any lasting change to occur.\n\nWe believe in a concept of community, where resources are available in an integrated fashion to people at any stage of life. We want to be a wellspring, a source of hope and refreshment, where young and old live naturally together, strengthening one another and receiving the security, services and renewal they need to live out their full potential.\n\nOur history runs deep.\n\nFor over 120 years, we've been in the business of serving people. During this time, we've engaged with thousands of people of all ages and circumstances.\n\nThat deep history has built a legacy of trust throughout Michigan. But we haven't rested on our legacy alone. Depth must also be applied to our thinking. That's why in recent years we've re-thought and restructured our core competencies to increase the flow of services to the people we serve â?? individuals, families, communities, congregations and more.\n\nThe word â??wellspringâ?? is defined as the head or source of a stream that flows with abundance.
