With presence in Portugal since 2002, through its industrial unit in Maia and more recently since 2017, with the new plant of Santo Tirso, WEG is today a reference of the Portuguese National Industry, dedicated to the manufacture of electrical motors, design and implementation of Automation Solutions, Energy and Services. With teams of Research & Development and Engineering in Portugal, WEG has been showing a sustainable growth, reinforcing its position as an Industrial and Service platform for the whole world.
