What Is VoiceBox Technologies?

VoiceBox Technologies develops next-generation voice applications using its patented, innovative Conversational Voice Search technology. VoiceBox supplements traditional voice recognition technology with algorithms that go beyond sound-matching to understand the intent of a user query and provide people with more direct access to information. As the International Academy of Science recently put it, "The VoiceBox Conversational Search Platform makes applications and devices understand, not just listen." This innovation creates a more natural and much less frustrating voice application experience: VoiceBox doesn't ask people to learn a fixed, unforgiving command set; it better tolerates background noise and the normal ums-and-ahs of everyday communications; it gets us more directly to what users want without asking them to traipse through tedious voice command menu trees. Our Conversational Voice Search applications let people speak the language they already know - less like robots and more like humans. And our applications can run on a PC, in-car navigation/telematics systems, or on any mobile device. We can run embedded on the device, accessed on a server, or both. As such, VoiceBox can provide people with a single interface for anytime, anywhere access to information and services - at home or while mobile. The year we announced our technology, we received many prestigious awards acknowledging 'the VoiceBox advantage.' And our innovation has been awarded US Patents. Best of all, independent research showed overwhelming consumer acceptance of and excitement for the VoiceBox solution (Hebert Research). Partners the likes of Toyota and Pioneer have seen the VoiceBox difference, and have just starting shipping applications using our technology. We look forward to working with them and others to bring more of our capabilities to market!
