Virgin Active opened its first club in Australia in Frenchs Forest in 2008, and now have 6 clubs in Sydney and Melbourne, with many more in the pipeline! We love to challenge convention and think ?outside the box??, which is why when we launched in Australia in 2008, we were the first to offer flexible, rolling memberships which didn?t tie members into long term contracts. We also introduced innovative new features, such as PowerPlate and the Progression Zone, plus new classes like GymStick, Zuu and Zumba Step. We have big plans.
