Victors Value Investments is Michigan’s premier value investing club. The club was founded in 2017 with the belief that we can outperform the stock market by investing in great Michigan businesses trading at reasonable prices and holding them for as long as they remain attractive. We achieve this goal by conducting extensive primary research, sticking to our principles, and ignoring the day-to-day volatility of the stock market. More specifically, we tend to favor companies with low price-to-earnings multiples, sustainable competitive advantages, and a proven track record. Our highly concentrated portfolio is solely composed of Michigan-based companies, because we believe that we are surrounded by an abundance of opportunities close at hand. Investing in what we know gives us a unique competitive advantage only found at VVI. We currently manage $10,000, all of which belongs to the club, allowing us complete freedom over our strategy and investment decisions.\n\nHere at VVI, we have a strong commitment to education. We want to provide all members with the opportunity to learn about finance and investing. By maintaining a small dedicated core of about 50 members, VVI is able to effectively teach members how to conduct both quantitative and qualitative in-depth research on companies with the long-term in mind.
