What Is Velocys?
Velocys enables sustainable fuels for aviation and heavy goods transport, using waste materials, to cut greenhouse gas emissions and improve air quality. Our reactor and catalyst technology for synthesis of hydrocarbons has been demonstrated at commercial scale. Building on this, we have developed an end-to-end solution for converting solid waste materials into fuels. This process cuts net greenhouse gas emissions by over 70%, exhaust emissions such as particulate matter by 90% and is a better way to dispose of waste than incineration or landfill. Velocys plc is admitted to trading on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange (LSE: VLS). Our plc headquarters is at the Harwell Innovation Centre near Oxford in the UK; we have technical and commercial teams in Columbus, Ohio and Houston, Texas.
