Founded in 1999 by Kevin Fredrick, Velocity Machine’s steady growth has forged five facility moves or upgrades. After outgrowing its original 6,000 SF shop, Velocity built a new 17,500 SF plant in 2003. The company moved again in 2008 to a 44,000 SF facility and added an additional 20,000 SF of manufacturing space in 2012. In 2019, the continued growth brought the need for another move – this time to an 85,000 SF corporate headquarters that employs 100 team members in De Pere, Wisconsin. In 2020, current Velocity Machine team members Paul Adamski and Jason Gauthier purchased the company from Kevin Fredrick with similar aspirations of growth for the company. Velocity Machine has received several awards over the years, highlighted by the Lean Supplier of the Year Award from GE Energy.
