VectorMax has commercialized more than sixteen years of intensive research and development conducted by "smart guys" out of Bell Labs, DARPA & MPEG. This research included a deep development focus on software-based IP transport delivery technologies — highly relevant today — and even more relevant over the decade ahead. During this $73 million research effort, VMX pioneered several technologies that increase the efficiencies in delivering IP video over large scale, imperfect networks. Those multiple breakthroughs have been productized into a single delivery Platform known as TV Anywhere™. To date, VMX has been awarded 102 worldwide patents and 17 trademarks relative to our independently created intellectual property. Our capability to provide a software solution that capitalizes on existing network infrastructure allows us to deliver high quality live linear broadcasts and other IP services where previously not economically viable. We have partnered with Google to use our transport in their roll-out of GoogleTV Services (“GTVS”). This pre-packaged seamless solution allows carriers, globally, the opportunity to offer a full IPTV live linear service over their challenged networks. By combining our live linear delivery capabilities and the 2020 functionality of Android 11 GTVS including its built in Google Assistant, the consumer experience is enhanced giving the operator the product they need to compete in today's mercurial marketplace. VMX's tech/approach is vastly different and it's important not to confuse it with the thousands of IPTV platforms on the market that perform the precursory functions associated with IPTV but do not actually transport the IPTV to the end user. These other solutions relegate the delivery of IPTV to robust hardware-based infrastructure such as a switched network, edge network or CDN. The VMX Platform performs all the functions needed to preconfigure and transport IPTV.
