What Is VIM Magazine?

VIM Magazine is the only student-run fashion, beauty and lifestyle magazine at Michigan State University. The mission of VIM Magazine is to empower Michigan State University students to express their individuality through fashion and to strengthen the bonds within the MSU and greater Lansing community. VIM Magazine is a registered student organization at Michigan State University. The name “VIM” comes from the MSU fight song and means enthusiasm and vitality. The first issue was released on November 1, 2010. VIM Magazine features content as it relates to fashion, beauty, health, lifestyle, and college life at MSU. Entirely student-run, VIM is published and printed bi-yearly in the Fall and Spring semesters along with published monthly digital issues. All throughout the MSU school year distributed to students at no cost. VIM is more than just a magazine. The organization has grown immensely in its eight-year existence.
