What Is Urban Engineers?
For over 30 years, Urban Engineers has been the leader in Construction Management and Inspection of many significant projects in the mid Atlantic and New England regions. Our reputation has and will continue to be based on managing time, cost, and quality, with the end result often being an award winning project. We have evolved our consulting practice areas through training programs and procedures that allow our senior professionals to attract and develop new staff to complete successful projects. Urban has 172 staff members working in the construction management and inspection fields, which does not include the approximately 300 personnel that we have working in our planning and design departments. A significant number of these individuals have extensive experience in different phases and types of construction. It is Urban's commitment to respond to "job creation" through the "Economic Stimulus Program" by positioning Urban as being ready and able to provide these extensive resources to our clients. We are prepared to recruit additional staff that will be trained by Urban's senior professionals to broaden our ability to manage and inspect projects. We will deliver quality results that our clients have come to expect and always get from our team of dedicated and seasoned professionals. Our contacts, through industry and professional associations, in addition to the construction industry, provide us a unique path to supplement the staff that may be required to meet the overall needs of the anticipated investment in the built environment. By employing our training system for new staff, along with attracting individuals from the industry currently underemployed, our clients can be confident that we will deliver, as we always have, projects that meet time, cost, and quality expectations. The challenges faced by America are large. The skills to meet that challenge and provide significant return on investment over the upcoming years through wise and prudent managed investments in infrastructure are, some could argue, unique to Urban. We remain steadfast in our commitment to remain "our clients' first choice" by standing behind all that we promise. Our reputation to deliver, no matter how big the challenge, is what we have always done and will continue to do during this critically important opportunity to invest in America's infrastructure.
