What Is University of Florida Jacksonville Physicians?

University of Florida Jacksonville Physicians, Inc. (UFJPI) has supported the University of Florida's physician practice in Jacksonville and other northern Florida and southern Georgia communities since 1971. UFJHI provides a wide range of business services - such as operation of our satellite network and provision of services to the faculty not related to billing and collections - to one of the largest mixed specialty practices in the southeastern United States. UFJHI is a network of more than 60 primary and specialty care centers that offer first-rate care from the nearly 400 UF faculty physicians based in Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia. The network includes two dozen primary care centers throughout Jacksonville, with additional locations in Baker, Clay and Nassau counties. In addition, specialty care outpatient centers at UF Health Jacksonville and throughout the region offer advanced diagnosis and treatment, unique services and second opinion services for even the most complex medical cases. Emerson Medical Plaza, located on Jacksonville's Southside, is a unique University of Florida and UF Health Jacksonville multiservice healthcare center. The treatment center offers primary care, initial evaluations, health screenings, noninvasive to minimally-invasive procedures, advanced imaging–including MRI, CT and mammography–and additional outpatient service Family Practice, Neurosurgery, Emergency Medicine, Surgery, Otolaryngology, Cardiovascular Center, Orthopaedics, Dermatology, Trauma, Ophthalomology, Hemotology, Oncology, Pediatrics, Nephrology, Pulomonary, Rheumatology, Pathology, Pediatrics, Radiology, Neurology
