What Is University Health Services?
University Health Services (UHS) is the student health center at UW–Madison. We endeavor to provide high-quality care in a manner that is culturally respectful, fiscally responsible, and developmentally appropriate to student needs. UHS brochure Our stated mission is “To enhance learning and student success by promoting, protecting, and restoring health and well-being.” At UHS, we have an integrated care model, combining a wide range of medical, mental health counseling, prevention, and wellness services to help support individual students so they can be personally and academically healthy and successful. On average, we do more than 70,000 student visits a year in our combined services.
