What Is Union Station Homeless Services?
Since 2003, Union Station Homeless Services' Family Center has offered homeless families a safe, nurturing place to rebuild their lives. We provide families with the compassion, services and resources they need to improve their financial, physical and emotional well-being. The Family Center provides emergency housing, meals, case management and life skills classes for 50 homeless parents and children at a time. Union Station's Family Center is the only shelter in the County of Los Angeles that accepts single fathers with children, as well as teenage boys. Each year, more than 150 homeless parents and children live at the Family Center.
